I will vote to limit government to its Constitutional restraints, in order to preserve liberty and promote responsibility.
I am running for State Rep. from Concord District 12, Wards 5, 6 and 7. As far as civic organizations are concerned, I have been a member of the Concord PTO/PTSO at Kimball, Rundlett and Concord High Schools. I am a former coach of the Concord American Little League. Presently, I am a member of, and am on the board of directors at the Sunset Mountain Fish and Game Club. I also belong to the Daughters of the American Revolution, and serve in the Buntin-Rumford-Webster Chapter.
As for religious organizations, I attend St. John the Evangelist Church, where I am a lector. I coach our church’s adult softball team, and am the Commissioner of the Concord Church Softball League.
I am running for office because I want to preserve the New Hampshire advantage of low taxes, less government intrusion, and more personal liberty. Over the past 12 years, I have seen the State rapidly declining in many areas because of government decisions. As a State Rep., I would have the opportunity to reverse this trend. I will never support the imposition of a sales or income tax on the people of our state. I will vote to limit government to its Constitutional restraints, in order to preserve liberty and promote responsibility. I support education decisions being made on the local level, and never by some un-elected judges and bureaucrats. I will support pro-life legislation, and am a staunch supporter of 2nd Amendment rights.
As for issue groups, I am a member of the National Rifle Association, Pro-Gun New Hampshire, the New Hampshire Liberty Alliance, the Coalition of New Hampshire Taxpayers, and have actively supported efforts made by the New Hampshire Advantage Coalition. I am the Chairman of the Concord Republican City Committee, and the Treasurer of the Central New Hampshire Republican Women’s Club.
I have been a Foreign Language teacher for 21 years; 12 of them in New Hampshire. I am a former police officer, having worked in New York State and Texas.
