Tammy Simmons

I strongly believe in limited government and that the taxpayers are far better suited to decide how their hard earned money is spent than any government official is.

I moved to New Hampshire 20 years ago and have been a homeowner in West Manchester for the past 11 years. Over the past decade I have become very active at the city and state level - whether it has been working on a political campaign or as the Executive Director of the New Hampshire Advantage Coalition where I have focused on the state education funding problem and more recently getting a spending cap amendment on the November ballot in Manchester .

Because I am self-employed, I have the flexibility that will allow me to attend all house sessions and play an active role as your state representative. I plan to work diligently to preserve the ideals that brought me to NH in the first place. I strongly believe in limited government and that the taxpayers are far better suited to decide how their hard earned money is spent than any government official is. Because of this, I will oppose any state income or sales tax and instead focus on how we can reduce unnecessary state and county spending and vote against unnecessary regulations on individuals and businesses. I am pro-life and a strong proponent of parental rights and I am a solid supporter of the second amendment.

I am currently a NHGOP state committee member, and have been treasurer, secretary and webmaster for the Manchester Republican Committee.

I look forward to the opportunity to serve the residents of West Manchester and bring positive change to Concord . If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at or 603-235-9998.
